EasyPoint ("we", "us") is a Nigeria-first exam-preparation platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. It is written to align with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).

2. Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email and/or phone number, and the exams you're preparing for.
• Usage data — practice answers, CBT results, games, streaks, points and how you move through the app, so we can personalise learning.
• Transaction data — Premium, exam-PIN and marketplace payments, processed by our payment partners.
• Device & technical data — basic information such as device type and app version to keep the service reliable and secure.

3. How we use your data

• To run the core service: practice, CBT, leaderboards and points.
• To personalise your experience and recommend what to study next.
• To process payments and deliver purchased items (Premium, exam PINs, marketplace).
• To keep accounts secure and prevent fraud or abuse of points/rewards.
• To respond to your support requests.

4. Sharing

We don't sell your personal data. We share only what's needed with service providers who help us operate — for example payment gateways and our exam-PIN (VTU) provider — and where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

6. Your rights

7. Children

EasyPoint is intended for students preparing for secondary and tertiary exams. If you are under 18, please use EasyPoint with the awareness and consent of a parent or guardian.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and to notify you of serious incidents where required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and update the date below.
